Ionescu Technologies seeks partnership with hotels and other high-traffic locations in order to put the Landmark directly in front of the type of customers we are trying to reach: business travelers and tourists. Just as our subscribers will benefit by having their listings focused on an eager audience, our partner hotels benefit by delivering to their guests the resources and information that they crave. The results speak for themselves - with eight kiosks in place, we receive over 80,000 hits per month! The success of the Landmark is a result of our many advantages over other forms of guest information: • Cutting edge appeal has been a key feature of the Landmark’s success thus far. The Landmark’s sleek design (the kiosk footprint measures less than two feet by two feet), clean and simple touch screen interface, and ease of use have drawn praise from both users and staff at all of our locations.
• No maintenance is required from our host locations. We take care of all service requirements - the only thing we ask from our host locations is an electrical outlet and access to an internet connection.
• GPS based localization allows the kiosks to “know” where they are in relation to listed destinations, list destinations by distance from the kiosk, and customize directions based the kiosk’s location.
• Printable information and directions, directly from the kiosks, allow customers to know where they are going and receive an incentive to go there.
• Fresh content is one of the Landmark’s greatest assets - the information on our listings comes directly from the business owners and can be updated daily. This ensures that unlike pamphlets and other outdated print materials, the Landmark stays current with the latest events, specials and menu changes.
• 24/7 access to our content is guaranteed, unlike access to a concierge. When the concierge is busy or not on duty, your guests can use a Landmark kiosk to find the information they need to enjoy their travel experience.
• Multiple access points through lobby kiosks, web browsers, and even PDAS ensures that your guests will get the high quality information they need with the convenience they demand.
• Customizable features are the key to the Landmark’s future. The software that powers our service is proprietary and designed from the ground up to suit our mission, and as such it can easily be modified to accomodate additional features in the future, including credit card reading for purchases through the kiosks, cell phone and smart phone interactivity, and online reservation options.
